COBBLESTONES
Cobblestones once served as ballast in shops and were then used to pave amny of America's newly established urban streets. Some of these cobblestones were brought on sailing ships from Europe. Other indigenous stones were used as ballast in river barges, providing a way to bring their utility and beauty to the interior of the country's new urban settlements.
Cobblestones, as opposed to their manufactured brick counter parts are quarried stone, usually granite.
Our cobblestones are available in a variety of hues, including pinks, greys, and speckled whites. The average stone size is 9"x6"x5", with an approximate weight of 25 pounds. Other sizes are available - please contact us for more information.
